Leonora Bus

Silent Music Box

I’m the broken music box, never will I open
The soul that sits within me will never be released
Within my fractured casket, she hums her melody
One you will never hear of, she will never be released

Her dancing shoes never wear out
Your eyes will never see her dance, she is already worn out
Her exterior, a jewelled ornament, fools your sight
Within she is enveloped in darkness and hopes for your glimpse of light

A key to her heart lies before her
She requires a hand to reach out for her
Your hand in particular to pull her out
A lifeless key that will never reach out

A silent music box, forever will I be
My heart locked up and never freed
My song never heard, my dance never seen
Only by another when it was all meant for thee
