Magdala Sent Its' Disciple (Improvisation 09 05 2009)

Magdala sent its’ disciple
Received at the opened
Roof in mid day
For the Lord at time’s high rise
Did need a queen
When there already at peace
Within his heart was everything
And was salvation and redeemer
And word and light enough
Groom became his claim
So to humor the dwelling
Where they gather in place
For forgiving and rooms
To sleep where they
Numbered by forgotten.
Morning rings of wedding
Bells that called for them
Beyond the mird’s stones
For crossing shallow
Wady ways at pause for bathing
The calloused feet and the great
Deep and wide of the Nile’s
Summer calm and winter winds
There he sat among them all
To set them off to sail.
