Free Mind: Part Ii Page 1 (Original 08 24 2009)

Free mind
Short poems
Words and the mind
Cohorts in cahoot
Estranged romantically
Like the nonchalance of
Unwanted loving
Among trees birds and some of among
These- primates grounded and misbehaved
Already the poem begun is growing to long
And must be shaved of its growth of unruly beards
Like the mind and word it will grow to keep its identity
It will jump its track and veer off course for short spells of insolence
It will use its lines to the finish and when exhausted it will go on a lap to wrap
But no sooner than when the subject is changed it will suddenly stop
To begin to pull back to
Free mind
Short poems
Poems begin in less foreplay
Then end in less pursuit
Of the tangles enjoyed
The face of primate intercourse
Embracing in bridal chamber
Mystery primate to primate
Neither caring much whats going on
Soon the word and the mind let go
And the heart and the soul take control
Whats going on but spirit to spirit
The poems are much longer
