Jake

He was a skeleton of a boy
Heavily tattooed on his arms and legs
With many piercings
He sat on a stoop on Jarvis
Holding his palms up to recieve any change
His face was filled with pocked up sores
They made him looked older
But I knew he must be in his late teens
And didn't have much to live
I walked over and gave a fifty
Thinking he needed his medicine
He smiled with joy
Of a kid on Christmas
And said: now I can go home
I smiled and walked away
