The U.S. Is Our Country

I have seen the Plains of Texas
I have crossed the rivers wide.
I have flown above the mountains.
Just to see the other side.

I have seen our nation's Capitol
With monuments so grand
The sparkling Potomac, flowing
Through the flowered land.

I have seen the sea of crosses
And the Kennedy's whole clan
Arlington, where the losses.
Burden heavy that rolling land.

I have seen the bloody landscape,
Where John F. met his fate,
On a sunny day in Dallas
Oh, the carnage and the hate!

I've seen the deep Kentucky caves
The mountains of dear Tennessee
The blue smoky haze calls to me
A place where everything is free.

Oklahoma, how we love you!
Arkansas, you're really swell!
Oh, the glories of the U.S.
So many, its hard to tell

From one end to the other
One thing is very clear
The U.S. is our country
And we hold it very dear!

We stand us for our freedom
And we stand up for our rights
We stand up to our enemies
If you push us, we will fight

We stand as one, united
Against all oppression and war
When Uncle Sam needs us,
We don't hesitate to go.

From one end to the other
One thing is very clear,
The U.S. is our country
And we hold it very dear!
