The Rape of the Malvern Hills.

From beneath the sea with untold force;
the hills erupted; sprang into view.
A million years or more the hills stood evolving;
a million years or more nature was unfolding.
Flora and Fauna where her guests;
flora and Fauna her dress.
All was peaceful; nature flourished.
Time passed by, their beauty grew.
Then one day greedy men came into view;
shovel and pick, dynamite, heavy shoe.
They raped her body! Hoped to steel her soul
All across the hills are the scars of man.
Wise men saw the folly! fought to save them.
All is peaceful now; mans greed is no more.
Hopefully one day men will see the error of their way.
When all is left in ruin; when all is in decay!!
WE could build a fort! I can hear hear them say,
Maybe on the hills, start over again...
But the day is approaching when earth is done;
when man has gone; when earth is cold! DEAD.
DRIFTING , DRIFTING DRIFTING.
