Nightmare creatures come out to crawl,
When the night-time comes a calling.
Long shadows flickering across the wall,
Crawling, crawling; scratching, clawing.
A dark endless passage we stumble and fall,
The faster we run; the faster they crawl.
The silent scream echoing down the hall,
Fleeing the touch of the hooked claw.
Faceless shadows reaching out; touching,
Cold sweat dripping~~dripping~~dripping.
The silence screaming; screaming-----
The relentless silent screaming--------------
