Spring will soon her pretty face show,
Shorts and shirts instead of snow.
The Gorse will soon wear a golden glow,
And Bluebells cover where once was snow.
Peregrine, Pipit and Woodpecker Green,
The Kestrel hovering so serene.
Buzzard, Skylark, Kite and Crow,
Starlings on branches all in a row.
Waiters in suits of black and white feathers,
Rabbits a plenty playing in the Heather,
Enjoying the kiss of spring weather,
Come with me; lets walk together.
North Hill, Sugar Loaf and Table Hill,
Like old friends, a pleasure to meet.
Outcrops and rocks; always a seat,
Passers by with a friendly greet.
