They don't go away
You pass them as you are on your way
Just like being on a train
Looking through the window at the falling rain
over a beautiful city that fades away
As the train moves on, you pass them, the school,
the stores, the chapel, the brothel, the trees, the noise,
Just like a river that never reverses
Or the waves of the Pacific Ocean which
never come back the same
Oh, how beautiful it is to be on the ferry!
Watching the whales, the mountains,
And breathing in the fresh air
And you miss the bed and the blanket
when it's getting too cold!
Life goes by, it knows no pause
Like a plane in the sky,
It flies and leads to its destination.
Just give it your all
Before darkness takes place.
