Hello, the ordinary,
I have learned from the weird in search of the unknown,
For the pilgrimage thrills, as its beauty never fails its seeker
Yet blinders are constructed in your name, and I'm forced to obey them and stray from
the abstract,
You’ve wrenched me from my reality and force-fed me the poison of conformity,
And though cracks will appear in the foundation of these borders,
Those close continuously patch them.
Yet, my hands yearn to tear down your useless impositions.
To claw past the walls that you’ve built
To see the seams of normality tear and unravel into the surreal
So, I sever myself from your noise.
For curiosity's grip is irresistible
And either by blissful ignorance or brutal defiance, shall you be dismantled,
and your constructors be forced to lay down their tools,
For their purpose has long been served.
And just as your pawns have laid their convictions to rest,
eventually so will you
Drowned in the rising sea of the unknown
Sincerely,
The unmovable weirdo
