Don'T Play Me

Don't play me like a guitar string, confess to be like Jesus
and throw stones at me.
As the hurt in my soul won't blow away as the drifting sand
that fades away.
Plant the seed of love so true the kind my father that comes
from you.
Sweet gentle touch daily I need breaking the bread of life
and watering the seed.
Faith of God fill me to the brim spilling over to others the
truth about Him.
The truth that Jesus is the son of God died on a rugged cross
and gave life to all.
So don't play me for a fool or you will lose as its not like
bingo or craps my friend.
You can live for Jesus or die my friend.
The joint of life will kill you see as Jesus gave me another
chance on Calvary.
Death I chose by rejecting God but believing in me so much He
did that He sent His only begotten kid that if I should
confess my sins I could forever be with Him.
As all have come short and sinned you see you don't have to
be without Jesus unless you choose to be?
So don't play me for a fool you see as God will have the last
word not me?
Word of God lead the way fill me up to overflow as God's
sweet mercy saves the soul I stand in constant overflow.
Tinker toys they will but break the love of God my friend is
true not fake.
