Problems

I got my license yesterday
To drive my father’s car.
I do not need it anyway,
And will not go too far.
I cannot afford insurance,
The premium’s too high.
I’m glad I’ve got endurance,
No one will see me cry.
Alas, the future’s bleak to view —
I’m not equestrian.
The only thing that’s left to do,
I guess, is stay pedestrian.
