I am a young university student. I started writing poetry in 2022 for fun and for private self-expression. Now I'm starting to take it more seriously, and publicly, in hopes of publication at some point. My main reasons for actually publishing the writings are for others to relate to (touching on the tough stuff), creative expression (the lack of structure), and I just like making fun rhythms and rhymes (my main style being free verse rhyming).
