It's about...

Diogenes was a homeless man
He was cynical, a character, a fool, some could say destined to be forever dead.
But he has books, people analyzing his every day.
So what's stopping you in this modern enclave?
Times have changed.
I know your struggles, your own images-, self doubts.
That spreads like a new black plague, the young and old in this new age.
How it's hard to get up in the morning, why me? Why breathe?
The devil speaks.
You know there's more like you out there, but you don't care. It's about me, me, me.
And hey, I don't mind, if you're still reading there's still time.
Self acceptance is the first step in this ascent.
The light, the shadow, it's your Ying-Yang scheme. The chariots rolling wheels.
The past is gone, the path taken still going strong.
Don't let outside forces tell you what's wrong with your own life.
The second is the battle, the grapple
Of your self esteem.
Look in the mirror, your experiences, your life's battles.
You're still breathing, heart still beating.
You've won. There's nothing that can take your minds shining bright light.
And that's all that really matters.
But if that's not enough, then fret not
For the third step is the final, look at the sun,
the longest trek for you to feel alive.
Strive.
Glide.
Ride life's wave, and find what makes you feel great.
There's dreams in you that you've repressed.
They never left, there's still there, waiting for your embrace.
So what are you waiting for?
Diogenes was a homeless man.
Through words, through sound, and art
This poems hierophant.
What did your mind create?
You're a magician, no one else could manifest what you just did in your head.
So what's your name?
Who will you show your true face?
What's your fateful end?
We’re all waiting for your introductory page.
