When I am sad and weary
And burdens overflow me,
When pain is great upon me
And rest I cannot find,
I find comfort in the knowing
That I have a hiding place,
That through trials and temptation,
I am but made more strong.
So thank you Lord for teaching me
Through sickness and through pain,
For now I know I'll follow Thee,
Wherever you shall deem.
And when burdens overflow me,
And the pain I cannot bear,
I know I'll find comfort
