Beaming light of full moon glow
Interrupted a dream that was deep
Disrupting the ebb and flow
That rocks me back to sleep

Sixty-percent of my body undulated
Thrashing in bed through the night
During peak of my sleep I capitulated
Lunar pull too strong to fight

I'm glad it's the last full moon
Looking forward to end of the year
As the new year arrives soon
Anticipating next full moon to appear
