Saint's Reality

"Now I lay me down to sleep I pray the Lord my soul to keep. If I should die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take."

Normalcy is key
Big dreams, big world
Everything glitters
But it's not gold.

Rainbows and dolls
Innocence so smitten
Dripping pink
Virtious position.

Unconscious darkness
Wittingly approaches.

Blood stricken walls
Seminal saturated linens.

Throbbing & pain
Terror, cruelty.

One hip, two hip
The chain pulls tight
She sobs, she gasps
She cries to God in all her might.

Although she begs
He doesn't stop
Hand spattered blood
The cradle still rocks.

In, out
Up, down
I will kill you
Don't make a sound.

He growls
She scowls.

Beaten & broken
Shattered glass in the floor
Distorted imagery
Nothing is he same anymore.

Gruesome scenery
Demented illusions
Saint's Reality
Sinner's delusions.

Fantasy out
Reality in.

Saint's Reality were the sinner's delusions.
This monster walks among us.
