Born in soviet Belarus in the late 80s, just on the cusp of USSR dissolvement, having had the unfortunate privilege of somewhat witnessing the stifling effect of the Soviet era on creativity and human nature. As a child I never felt truly at home. I wanted to dream, to write, to tell stories beyond the limitations and borders of my environment. However, the status quo was not to dream, or at least not to dream broadly.
When I was sixteen, I moved to Ireland. Here, in a country full of dreamers, the healing began. Some twenty-odd years later, for the first time in my life, I am sharing my work.
