in the fan...
Just singing
in the fan...
When life seemed so easy...
With my small attention span...

An easy way
to entertain...
Not much pressure
on my brain...
Fighting with siblings
I would refrain...
And it’s so much easier than
Singing in the rain...

I love the sound
My voice makes...
It sounds so weird
For goodness sakes...
Hours of fun
‘Till the fan breaks...
It’s so much easier than
Singing in the rain...

Our days were full
Of unknowns...
We looked for fun
Like skipping stones...
No one owned
AirPods or iPhones...
Still, it was always better
Than singing in the rain...
