Right On, Isaac

Isaac Hayes was a man of color…
And a colorful man was he…
Not only was he a great musician…
He had the ladies lined up to see…

With a panache as smooth as velvet…
And a voice as deep as the sea…
The women would melt when he walked into the room…
A true ladies man, as it would be…

They loved his gold-plated Eldorado…
They loved how he lived in style…
They loved how he dressed like a powerful king…
They loved his boots made out of crocodile…

He was known for being a great lover…
For all the willing and able chicks…
The ladies would scream they wanted him badly…
Isaac didn’t pay for no tricks…

He used the mighty shaft…
To get it right on… right on…
He made it with the most stylish ladies…
And then Poof! he was suddenly gone…
Can you dig it…

They said Isaac was a bad mutha…
They said you had better shut your mouth…
No one would challenge him for the crown…
Not in New York, LA, or anywhere in the South…

But then one day Isaac was gone…
He joined the angels up in the sky…
Now Isaac sings in God’s holy choir…
With the lady angels still waiting near by…
