When I settle in my chair at the close of day,
My heart gets lonely for my family so far away.
I wonder what they are doing and how they are.
To me each child stands out as a Super Star.
My husband shakes his head and says, "Honey they are adults,
When you treat them as children you add insults."
"No" I said, "In the Bible, God calls us His children
And we are over eighty-five,
So those grandparents and grand kids are my babies
As long as I am alive!
What a comfort it is to place each one
In God's protection when the day is done.
