It's a Neighborly Day

Rosy sunup, and red cock robin's singing a song,
As pink and green butterflies go drifting along.
On a split rail fence, the rooster loudly crows,
Near apricot bushes, wafting scents of tea rose.

Wild geese honk pertly, to a warm maize morning,
As bees go by humming, to visit without warning!
Frogs and grasshoppers hop in grass deep green,
And eating the clover, a rabbit is on the scene.

It's a beautiful summer day, for chatty neighbors,
Hovering like hummingbirds, for sunshine labors!
Cream blooms kiss the sun, as red cardinals go by.
And azure skies smile, with puffy clouds on high.
