Oh how I long to see my Muse once more
to gaze on herand her beauty adore.
I had but a glimpse of her this Sunday
and I waved at her as she looked my way.

But this fleeting glance has to be enough
to keep me going though I find it tough
and look forward to tonight when she’ll be
there at the Guild meeting for me to see.
