There was Peter, there was Judas,
both went ways the lord had said
they would.
Guilty and heart broken they ran,
feeling unworthy and sorry they fled.
Peter betrayed him in denial,
Judas betrayed him by selling him out;
the all knowing and powerful,
denied and sold out by disciples.
Though they were both guilty,
Peter found his way back to the master;
Judas sadly hung somewhere else.
