Lust For Death

Rebelling against heaven,
Detesting mankind
Of fate resentful
By the destiny enraged
Except for the dew of night
I love nothing of the dawn.
I have grown to loathe happiness;
I have fallen in love with gloom.
Of what I see I love nothing
Except the sight of blood,
Rebelling against heaven
And mankind.
Adorn for me your body
And Fill my cup with wine.
Do not think of tomorrow;
It may come when we no longer wake.
What do we care for eternity?
Its secrets are hidden deep.
Love, once ablaze,
Is the way to death.
Let us then die, hand in hand,
And bury the light of life,
Amid lust
and wine.
