Eve
LIKE THIS POEM
The serpent in my Eden
swallowed Adam.
He slithered into meals;

Wrapped himself tighter, tighter,
all around me,
ejecting sweetish venom
in my head,
no simple adder.
That stupe's gone, he said,
strangling,
love me instead.
