A Blizzard In March

The wintery wind blew,
And the snowflakes flew,
And soon everything was covered white. I am not a wizard,
But I know it was a blizzard,
That stormed through here during the night. Now, nothing is moving,
It almost feels soothing,
To have it superfluously quiet. But just wait around,
You will soon hear the sound,
Of neighbors shoveling with all their might. Eventually, I will have to dig,
With a shovel that is too big,
If I intend to get out by tonight. I will be glad when it's gone,
Then, once again I will see my lawn,
Springs rebirth will have sprung with delight.
