And I found a world,
so beautiful and so captivating,
yet hiding a danger right beside,
a beast- waiting for my steps to reach.
The hair on me stands on-guards,
like knights in the midst of a silent war,
and regardless of the sirens going wild,
the grass I stand on is left behind.
In the silence of hers I found peace...
In the silence of those eyes I saw seas...
Drowning to the pit, a gasping coward.
Dancing to the keys, beneath the shining candles.
Countless words have been spoken- aloud with might,
even more, said promises with polite-
but, shattering the millions to dust on ground,
the stillness gave me what the soul yearned for.
Her silence spoke to me, what words never could.
