That works as an antenna
Guiding the cat in each direction
Like a compass guiding a ship.
The cat's fur is a luxurious
Coat that warms in the coming
Winter of frost and snow.
The eyes are trancelike
As it gazes with a wink.
The cat was created to comfort
And teach humans how to relax.
The cat's meow whispers softly
That reveals the mood
In perspective.
No wonder the Egyptians
Glorified the cat.
