By The Foot Of A Hill
LIKE THIS POEM
By the foot of a hill
a butterfly winged back trembling
to its home.
On the way
flowers welcomed it and said:
'Come,
sit beside us
and
live your youth.'
The butterfly replied:
'You tempt and unfold and madden;
I show my colours in vain.'
