Sometimes I get so pissed
I just let the anger and hurt take over
I guess I should seek some closer
Now that I’m getting older
I need to be more of an adult or
Something stronger
Maybe then I’ll last a little longer
Without jumping from the same ladder
And watching my brain splatter
On the concrete
Right on beat
I don’t need anybody to compete with
There is only me and
My self
Which I’m losing
Because I’m scared
Of choosing closure
Due to all the exposure
