It is beautiful, indeed, but my people are not free.
They don't have the freedom to vote or to speak.
There is hunger and there is pain,
All because of a ruthless man who refuses to change.
How many have died and how many more will?
The world just watches; nothing has been done.
I remember how we used to dance and sing.
There is sadness and there are tears.
We pray and we wait for freedom to touch their lives again.
