The Cemetery

As I sit on my back porch, I see a large cemetery across the way;
And often I've wondered "If those people could talk. . . Just what would they say?" I'm sure their stories would vary about a lot of things;
But one thing you could count on. . . Is what happiness brings. Being thankful would probably be on top of the list;
Without it, life would be eyes full of mist. And would the things they did make them sad?
Rather than the things they didn't do that would have made them glad? To mention when they had a chance to do some good, they let
it slip away. . .
They'll say this hurts most always.
