Your life and mine
Differ less than perceived.
Experiential forests,
Differing trees,
Different seeds.
For that, I want us to grow.
I wish for us to see all that humanly is,
So that our line of gaze can find the same
And if a wall were to be placed between us,
We would reflect one another.
I wish for there to be no more walls however.
Most do not know walls are there,
Or believe they have built it themselves.
This is simply not true.
If there are those who dont know of those walls,
How could they have built them?
And as such,
If there are those who have walls invisible,
How can you be so different that you lay brick,
Yet be their profound similarity?
Your greener leaves are not wall building,
And you are no different of a species.
The simple fact is,
What divides us is us
And what is us is what germinated us.
Once we perceive our fostered histories,
We can tap into our roots and see,
How each tree is the same individually.
