Slowly time set us apart,
The other half’s sentiments died;
You showed me how to cry,
You showed me how to grief,
Pushed me to be alone and not trust thee.
An excellent job you did,
Broke me in pieces,
As many pieces as there are stars,
Desolation and depression
Is what a lone man has.
From deception comes sadness but,
Sadness becomes rage and rage hatred,
One transcends to come to know what hatred really is
An outer disgust for people like you
And an adoration for everything that is not.
