Poems of Amy Michelle Mosier
Pink is the morning sun ablaze.
Poverty is expensive
Rabat is a black pearl
Rather than talking to walls –
See there marches Orion
She's so powerful –
Should malachite bemoan
skimming the updraft
So that you shall be blessed
Spring days like these
Star of Wonder
Summer Rain
Sweat is the other garment
Sweet Crickets
Tarry with me tonight –
Tell me something more –
The Elusive Lady
The fold lifts - he's there in the mist
The Garden of Eden
The mirror is ignorant
The Sahara is another vast sea
The treetop glimmers outside my window
The wind hears many secrets
There exists no place
Through a break in the trees -
Thy being's grace
To a stranger who has died -
Triolet #1
Triolet #2
Triolet #3
Triolet #4
Two streams that converge
Under a sky of celadon -
Unseen pathways ahead are full
Venus rages brightly tonight
Weary day surrenders to night;
Weeds as tall as children
Were I a rose
What a brutal sun that assaults the cliffs
What a curtain Bisbee has
What love is this
When long days drag on me
When pillars fail
Where the children go to play
With a spurn of yellow and a shout –
Would you meet me sometime
You can no more catch the sun
You stole me from a castle
You want to requite my love;
