Come Now into the Downy Garden Laced with Hums

And birds who sound like songbirds but are screaming
Toward other males warning them away from hatchlings
In slime blind as tomorrow looking for mushy worm meat

The screaming hatchlings worm meat away
Songs of birds sharpen expired eyes and grins
In the slime of blind morrows sucking worms
Throughout the meat of the humming garden

Lace birds who sound like screaming hatchlings
Blind garden hums warn for mushy meat worms
Into our downy tomorrow other males slime pedals
Gathering pollen and conjecture on a dewy dawn
