What wrong did those people do; I ask thee,
to deserve all the torture they did endure and see.

It was not only a terrorist attack on Mumbai but on entire Nation,
the blasts at Trident and Nariman House shook our very foundations.

Evil ruled over their souls and devil resided in their heads,
all we saw was death destruction and bloodshed.

The attack inflicted on us wounds evergreen,
too brutal atrocious and loathsome those days had been.

Everywhere there was havoc and damage,
many innocents died in that horrid rampage.

But as they say; life must go on,
beckoning for us is a new dawn.

We should not surrender ourselves to the intentions so dark,
we should move on ahead and let the dogs bark.

These evil forces of terror should be done away with at the earliest,
the unity integrity and progress of the Nation in us does vest.

I beseech before thee to grant peace to the souls,
who died in the massacre and those who fought for us and played well their roles.

I humbly pray to thee to illuminate those dark minds,
to work for humanity and not to make destructions of various kinds.

Its my plea to thee; to bestow upon us peace and tranquility,
and fill this world with eternal serenity.
